Much of my job involves googling for answers that others were kind enough to provide. Occasionally, I will run into problems without easy answers that end up taking a bit of time to work through. This blog is my attempt to save you some of the time that I lost. Most tech tutorials are, in part, an excercise in altruism, whereby someone puts in a fair amount of work to make the lives of others a little easier. In that spirit, this blog is named after the eponymous medieval fable. I hope that in writing this blog I will have belled a few cats along the way, but if nothing else, I will have learned a lot in the process.
